Default Rust at bottom of rear window, help! 94 Integra

Anyone have experience getting at this rust? I see little black push clips, but don't see a way to get them out or if that would give me the access I need. I sprayed it with wd-40 to try and slow it down, but didn't seem to help very much as it's gotten worse ☹️

Please help, thx!

WD40 isn't going to help much, especially if you cannot coat everything with it. Rust is literally automotive cancer and must be treated as such. Those plastic pins can be popped out with either plastic or metal fastener spoons found at an auto parts store. With that piece of rubber removed you will be better able to see. Best case its just around that one hole but I have a bad feeling the rust touches that back glass as well. A wire wheel and catalyst may stop it, it may not.

I was able to remove this black piece to expose the metal underneath! The width of the clip was narrower than a fork so it worked perfectly.

There are plastic discs that it secures into unfortunately, and those did not come out easy. Heating them up and slowly wedging out seemed to do the trick
