2 wheel or 4 wheel alignment after coilovers
I just installed progress cs-2s on my 1996 CX Hatch. I'm well aware that I need an alignment but do I need a 4 wheel alignment or is a 2 wheel alignment fine? Do the 6g civic even have rear toe adjustment? Will coilovers affect my rear toe? Should I do 4 wheel alignment anyways I case my rear toe is out of spec?
You should ALWAYS do a 4-wheel alignment on a vehicle that has independent front and rear suspension. Two wheel alignments are for vehicles with solid/live rear axles. Toe is not your only concern... camber is most affected by lowering the vehicle and it should be checked. There is limited adjustment from the factory, and this is why adjustable camber kits are produced and sold for these applications.
This is literally stickied under the suspension forum.
