Civic burning oil
Hello, i have a Honda Civic with a d14a2 engine, with 111 k miles , and its burning todo much oil. I bought the car 1 month ago and did a oil Change on it, and the car Started making a bit of smoke(white), and after a week i noticed the oil level dropped , so i went and added more oil, and after a search on internet i read ir could be the pcv valve . I bought one and um waiting it to come, i also bought last week on off those stop fumes additive and used last week and the car stoped making smoke. But yesterday i was going to make a bigger trip than usual and went tô check the oil , and it didnt have anythin, the stick was dry , so basicaly the car burned more than 1 quart of oil in 160 miles and i added more lol and the car was making a s*** ton of smoke when i added more oil. But the weird thing is the car doesnt smoke all the time, ONLY smokes sometimes, most of the is when im going reverse or when i start moving ( (not making hard pulls just start moving normally) but its not always. When the car is cold it makes 0 smoke. Do you think its the rings? Or could it be the pcv valve?
