While attaching the motor to the Trans which was missing 1 of the dowel pins the Trans Broke on the exhaust Side and the engine broke on the opposite side. Yes it broke as in a piece broke off the trans and a piece broke off the block.
Had all the bolts in and was tightening them back and forth to draw them together when it snapped and broke pieces off simultaneously. Nothing I can do about it now but still puzzled as to why it happened . motor is a d16z6 w/ y8 tranny.
