Default Overheating issue

Hey guys, I am very sorry for asking for too much help. I am just trying to get my mother in law car running.
head gasket, sensors, radiator, head cylinder, all that changed, new timing belt, drive belt, ac belt. all new
put oil in the car and coolant, tried to burp the system, it kept one burping none stop... I took the car for a little test drive. found out that that the temperature increasing slowly, I have a scanner pugged in to the OBD reader. it start going high and high and then luckily I was right by my drive way so I got it up and turned off the car, the radiator fluid spilled in the engine compartment the it was boiling like bd even the reservoir was boiling.. and some white smoke start to come out of the exhaust. the oil logo came up on my dash board, what possibly it can be. its new head gasket, and I made sure there was enough oil and coolant fluid ...any ideas? is it possibly that there is a leak somewhere that causing the problem??? the temperature sensor and the the for radiator fan switch replaced... not sure
its 2004 Honda Civic DX.

Again I thank everyone for helping me in everything.

How many miles on this car ? I would say you have a lot to learn about engine rebuilding , you're the only one that worked on it you shouldn't be asking about the problems you're having . The motor is obviously blown , top and bottom . You can get a crate motor if you have any money left .

230k miles. And why would you say the motor blown? I replaced the head gasket and it worked fine but then it overheated. Originally what happened is that my mother in law car overheated and she blows a head gasket. So we replaced that and replaced other things. The only question I have is why this is happening about the oil light and boiling coolant?

With that many miles I would consider putting in a lower mileage engine that has good compression. You could use the newer parts you already purchased. Sounds like some kind of issue due to the overheating, different head being installed etc. Who's to say who's fault, the new or rebuilt head could have an issue, there could be little piece of old gasket or junk inside, the surfaces not flat enough etc. Just gonna have to take it all back apart and figure out what you want to do.

What about the water pump? That many miles the impeller could have deteriorated by now. Either that or your cylinder head is warped.

I've been down this same road before! I have an '02 Civic LX with the same engine (D17A1). I had the same symptoms as you, overfilled coolant bottle, etc.
I replaced the head gasket and still had the SAME coolant problems within a few days!
The problems were caused by a warped cylinder head from previous overheating. I pulled the head again, had 0.005" shaved off at a local machine shop, reassembled the engine with OEM parts. The car has been running GREAT for the past year!

overfilled coolant bottle reflects head and head gasket issues like the engine is rejecting coolant water.
