Default Fuel rail tuck questions. New to this fitting stuff

Hi so my old civic came with this fuel serup
itook it off and trying to install into my new civic. I just don’t know how to attack this

Am I just suppose to cut my hard fuel line and put the scilicone hose at the tip/end over my hardline. Clamp it and be done? That’s how it was in my old civic. But previous owner installed it. I’m not sure if this is correct way for fuel line tuck

or more to it. Is this even the correct way to do it?

Not the correct way. The proper way is to cut the hard line, double flare it (don't forget to slide the ferrule and AN nut first before you flare the line) and install a 5AN to 6AN male-to-male fitting and connect your -6AN hose to it. Get rid of all of the black rubber hose.
