I'm new here and happened across the site while looking up the VPG MV-1 and I noticed that under a picture of it was the forum thread of the ugliest car sold in the U.S. now. I have to admit that it's definitely ugly. But about me, I'm a 40 yr old Air Force vet and a father of 3. My oldest son passed away when he was almost 3 yrs old and then I have a son who is 12 and my daughter is 10. I enjoy fishing with them anytime I can, but living in southeast Louisiana sometimes the heat doesn't allow it. My favorite vehicle that I've owned is the 01 S10, which I really wish they would start making again, mine was dark cherry red metallic with the Vortec 4.3L extended cab and automatic. Not long after I got it I had the windows tinted with 5% tint (is illegal to have that dark in Louisiana), I put the clear taillights, dropped the rear 2" with a drop block and then I decided to put a bandpass box with 2 10" Sony Explodes, 4 Infinity 6x9s, and then 6.5 Infinity door speakers, 2 radio shack 4" horns and I had a Kicker 200W for my 6x9s, horns and doors and then a MTX Thunder 1000W on the 10s. I can't count the number of times I've been pulled over for "unnecessary noise" but that was when I was in my early 20s. I have to admit that for a truck it was a smooth ride, it wasn't nearly as rough of a ride as my step dad's F-150. I've even been looking into getting another one but I haven't found one that is a decent price or doesn't require a lot of work. I have an acquaintance that has a Ridgeline and they seem like they are very good trucks. Thanks for having me here. Geoffrey
