Acura Integra 2000 GS-R coming out of storage - pricing ideas?
Hello -
I am helping a family member sell his 2000 GS-R Integra. It has like 71K miles and was stored in his garage for like past 3 years. I had it towed to the local Acura dealer where they are going over the car right now to do fluids, timing belt, etc and I hope to sell the car in the next few weeks when it is all ready. The car is in southeastern PA and I am trying to figure out a fair price to ask for the car.... it looks like new and is completely original except for some upgraded speakers and an alarm system. I have tried to search online but it is rare to see these cars listed for sale anymore.
What do you think a car in this condition would sell for?
THANKS

Yeah I agree with BaT. Have it professionally detailed and take lots of good photos and you will get a good price for it.

Being its from within the rust belt, if you sell that locally that would def fetch the higher end of the 6-10K. i mean, i know i would be willing to pay more for that clean of an example where rust is an issue on everyone else's cars.
Thanks everyone- I think I will submit it to BAT site but will list locally first to see how that goes - it was never really driven in bad weather so I don’t think it’s rusted anywhere- but where are the common rust spots that happen on these cars?
Don't sell local first. you're wasting your time. you'll get nothing but people low balling you and attempting to steal it, once they know where you lived or have it out. Unfortunately, these cars are still among the top ones stolen.
Rust occurs on the quarter panels, rear hatch area, doors and door trim.

Thanks - I hadn’t thought of that !
List it on BAT first. If you try to sell locally, you will be very disappointed. However, if the car is as clean as it looks, it will sell easily on BAT for $10k at least (is my guess). Listing it at that price will just bring out the worst people ever.
Ok thanks / I’ll list it on BAT I think - it had timing belt service with water pump done yesterday and has full service history in a folder - was garaged all its life and is a really babied all OEM example - hopefully I can get the higher end of the prices you guys have suggested - if I do list it I’ll share the URL here
Selling locally brings a lot of the honda degenerates that try to lowball you on every little thing and think a car isn't worth more than KBB. BAT will at least being in a national audience and will appreciate a stock example.
I finally got the car listed on BaT site if you're interested in checking it out -
