2014 CRV throwing tire pressure light all the time
This new to me 2014 CRV with 35kkms (25k miles or so) surprised me by throwing the TPMS light when I initially drove it about 100 miles.
I read about it in the manual, brought the front tires to 33psi and rears to 32psi cold, and trained the system as instructed in the manual. The light went off.
A few days of mild driving around town, the light is back. The tire pressure is still where I left it so there should be no reason the system perceived a sudden drop in pressure. There certainly was none when I originally got the light (during a HW trip).
Are these enlightened cars notorious for throwing that light for no reason? Is that something Honda lures owners in for an expensive service at the dealer's with?

Get the car read/scanned with an OBD scanner/reader capable of reading Honda ABS/VSA trouble codes.
There was a service bulletin (normal warranty applies):
For 2014 CR-Vs, if the Low Tire Pressure/TPMS Indicator Is On with VSA DTC 151-11(low tire pressure threshold refinement) and the tire pressures were properly set to the driver’s doorjamb label, the VSA modulator-control unit may need a software update.
