Default Easy way to run intake heat insulators

Found out you can just get an exhaust manifold stud kit for an 04 Ford 5.4 and it fits fine. Comes with 10 studs and lock nuts. Here's a pic using an old intake I had laying around for mock up. Thoughts?

My only concern would be depth, it might not be the same on all honda heads. But it's easy enough to cut them down a bit.

I do like the square end so you can seat them with ease.

If you've got an aftermarket IM and/or a "busy" firewall, you may not be able to get the manifold to clear the longer studs. Also, I still had enough threads left on my studs to not swap them when installing my thermal IM gasket, but yours in the picture definitely don't look long enough.

My first thought too, since studs like this rely on a certain depth for proper tension/torque. Since these are just intake studs and not something critical like headstuds though, could probably get away with it. Just watch for vacuum leaks.

Those super fun times you have to drop an engine to slide an intake manifold on lol.
