I was told to replace the distributor on my 93 Civic Dx by one of my dads mechanic friends. He explained to me how to do it and seemed easy enough. So I went home and did it. I made sure everything was aligned on the new distributor the same way as it was on the old one. Once I replaced it I went to start it and it started up just fine. All seemed fine until I went to move it later in the day. Now it wont start it just cranks. I have no idea what went wrong. I want to know if there is anything I can do to fix the problem? Or did I cause major damage to my engine?

 

Did you check for spark and CEL codes?
