2001 Accord V6, TCS & CEL, Won't Start
Hello All,
I couldn't find what i was looking for in searching and hoping others had some insight into the issues I am describing. This is for a friend of mine, his 2001 accord was acting up last week, turned out to be a neutral safety switch, we replaced it and no big deal, everything worked fine car ran good for a few days. Yesterday the car started running rough out of no where and the TCS light came on, then the CEL came on and started flashing. Car continued to run rough but worked and continued to start. Today he drove it to work (he lives about 10 minutes from work) i brought my scanner and we were planning to scan it at lunch, he went to start his car to meet at my building on the plant and the car wouldn't start. It wont even turn over, when we turn the ignition on everything works, i was able to scan it an get the codes which wee P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305 and P0306 which is basically misfiring on all cylinders. There were also some fault codes for the TCS. When we turn the ignition we can here some relay type clicks but nothing serious and no engagement or clicking from the starter. I pulled some fuses from the engine compartment fuse block as well as the ignition fuse in the cabin, didn't find anything wrong. I scoped out around where he replaced the NSS and didn't see anything unplugged of broken wires, grounds all seemed to be intact. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue or knows where to look next. The NSS and the current issue may or may not be related, nothing has given and indication that they are except for close proximity in timing.
Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. We didn't have time or tools to diagnose too much since we didn't plan for this series of events.
