integra manual swap
Hey guys I'm sorry in advance for this stupid question but this is all still new to me, the world of civics and integras is something I've never got into but I got a civic and love it but now I wanna get something I can make a little more serious.
That being said, I am looking to pick up a 97/98 integra as my next project car but unfortunately there are only 3 that are for sale in my entire province up in Canada, 2 are automatics, and 1 is $10,000.
Unfortunately the integras are only b18b but it would be a good start, only if it could be a manual. I picked up a b16a2 with manual hydro trans and harness about a month ago to build for the civic. My question is will the b16a2 manual hydro trans and flywheel/clutch kit swap over to a b18b or is there enough of a difference that it wouldn't quite work? If it would be a bolt on swap, are the axles gonna be the same spline count and work as well? I know there is a lot of interchangeability between the b-series engines, but I cant find a clear answer as to what is a direct swap. The best info I can find is that the transmissions are very similar, but id rather have a solid answer before unloading money into an integra that I cant get parts for locally.
Thank you guys in advance and please go easy on me this is a lot to take in and ive been googling for days trying to research my next build from a civic to a prelude.

If your going to spend $10K on a standard Integra which in my opinion is allot you should just save up and buy a CDM ITR and call it a day! or buy a USDM Type R from the U.S and drive it back into Canada. You can find a Type R Integra for around $10k+
You'll need
Axles+half shaft (manual)
Shift linkage + mounting bolts to mount it to the body
Manual transmission flywheel bolts
Rear main seal
Clutch pedal assembly (this might be a 3 pedal assembly, I can't remember )
Clutch hard line
Clutch master and slave cylinders
Soft line for the slave cylinder
A hole saw
You will likely need to rewire your starter circuit to get rid of the (P) lockout and wire in the signal for the reverse switch
Manual transmission ECU (I needed it for smog so I got it)
MT gauge cluster bezel (if you want to clean up the install)
MT shift boot
Duct (foil) tape to seal the transmission tunnel
I believe that's all.

604dc2gsr has one for sale in Canada,
Looking to move on from my 97 ITR.
Title: Salvage (I believe from theft?)
When I purchased the car, I removed the interior panels and looked for signs of body work. Took it to a shop to inspect as well. Shoddy paint job. When I say shoddy, I mean, they didn't pull the windows, trim. Just poor masking. Unfortunately, it was taken to a autobody shop that did a terrible job. I think it needs windshield trim (3 pieces) and a re spray to look right. Car proof is available and I tried my best to do some sleuthing to no avail. Looks like all the glass was smashed though as I found, traces stuck in the 3rd brake light in the hatch. You can also see masking around the windows.
Located: Ontario Canada
Year: 1997
Mileage: 19,800 miles (32,000kms)
Colour: Obviously CW
Price: $11,500 USD
Mods: Mugen cat-back, AEM CAI, PLM header, 4.7 JDM FD installed last year.
Will come with 2 ECU - JDM ITR and a P28. JMD ITR ECU, the check engine light will come on for the CKF and o2 sensor
Interior: Has a canadian cluster currently. Interior is in very good shape. Seats were new. Interior is black and not purple.
Will upload pictures soon. Car is hard to grade as, it is actually quite nice but needs bodywork. No rust. Original rear 1/4p. I have OEM optional side skirts that I might keep.
Have the car proof as well. This car has been sitting a long time and I have slowly been working on it. Very slowly. Refreshing with OEM parts here and there.
