so I have a 2000 dc4 the I did a auto to manual swap as well as a obd2b to obd1 rewire now it shows I'm in d3 and park as I try to start my car any one know what pinout on the ecu I should check out the has anything to do with gear position I am at a loss running a p28 ecu with hondata s300 as well as swapped to b20b

 

Quick fix: plug the gear selector mechanism back in (if you still have it) and move the slider around till it gets to neutral or park. You will have to leave it plugged in, so you can hide it under the center console. I can take some pics of how I did mine if you would like.

What most people do: You need to connect the wire that comes off the gear selector that corresponds to park/neutral with one of the black wires, I Don't remember the location. some people wire it to the clutch safety switch.
