I bought a 03 accord not running. The lady I bought it from said one day she was leaving her home and the car just cranked and wouldn't start. The car sat for a year. She never tried to get it fixed. It sat in the driveway.
I towed it to my house and I noticed I am not getting any spark at any of the plugs. I found out the coil pack wiring harness isn't getting any power to any of the 6 connectors. I am getting fuel because plugs get wet.
I've read the a/c drain can get clogged and drip directly on the ecu so I checked it and it looks dusty and I see dry droplets. I attached a pic so you can see. It looks like dry condensation. I cracked open the ecu and I see no damage at all. Could moisture still have gotten in through the wiring harness and fried the ecu?
No check engine light when the key is in the "on" position.
A few times I cranked the car and it started sputtering like it wanted to start.
I don't think it would be a crankshaft or cam sensor killing the spark because there is no check engine light.
I've also tested main relay and it is working fine.
any ideas other than the ecu?
