I just joined the forum..

Purchased my first Acura back in 1987 right after graduating high school - first generation Integra RS (cheap back then -- I think I picked it up from the dealer brand new without a radio for $6,995.00!!!) -- wasn't much in the way of mods back then, but I did what I could -- it was a great ride - bulletproof!!! - put over 160k miles on her before I traded her in...
Then a used 2006 TL manual in 2008 - did some minor modifications -- another great ride!! but we had to part ways after around 130k miles.. it was time to move on..
Back in 2016, I picked up a used 1971 Datsun 240Z and tinkered with that ride for a bit (much to my now ex wife's chagrin) -- sold the Z about a year later (BIG mistake!!!!) , then picked up a 2017 Audi S3 which I modified -- just lost the car in the divorce...UGH!!!
Now I'm setting my sights on a honda or acura that I can tinker with and enjoy.
So, I'm a noob to this forum, but not to mechanics or hondas. Always room to learn more ... so..

Just joined too, been having start then stall problems with my 90 ED Civic. I came here to look for advice as I'm not much of a mechanic. My regular mechanic basically told me to take it to a carby specialist after I brought it in for the 3rd time haha.

Anyway, hope to find what i'm looking for, been searching forums for hours and it seems it could be any number of issues. haven't been able to make a thread to ask specifically.
