Hello I have a 100% stock 2017 Accord SE. 28K on odometer. The front brakes when i turn a corner screech like metal on metal. I had the car at the dealer for this and they claim they replaced the brake shim and lubed it. I have never owned a car with these brake shim/plates. I took the wheel off because the noise came back. After brushing lube it the plate it went away again. I'm not going to keep pulling the wheels off to lube these plates. Can I just pull these shim plates off and toss them in the trash?

Sounds like your car is still under warranty. Keep taking it back to the dealer until they fix it, or take it to another if they can't. Unless you've worn out the pads at 28k, it's their problem, not yours.
