I have a 2004 Accord EX and started having some issues with my power locks and also my drivers window switch. The drivers switch is just snapped off so easy repair. The driver lock started acting intermittent when it wanted to work with the key fob. finally it just quit working. I could lock and unlock all the other doors with the remote but had to use the key to unlock the drivers door. I figured this probably to be an actuator. This repair I will wait on but it links to my issue so hang tight. I drive the car but not all the time as I have a work vehicle so it only gets driver a couple days a week right now. I was getting tired of not being able to roll the drivers window down so I ordered a new switch for the drivers door....Installed just fine and figured I would have to reprogram the remote. not problem. I have done it before. So I go thru the reprogramming and test the fob while I am still in the car and as before the fobs will lock and unlock the doors except the drivers door, the same as before as expected. I was done programming, except the auto down/up feature on the switch for the window (still haven't finished that) and get out of the car. I manually lock the drivers door with the key and now the fob wont unlock or lock the other doors. I hear them cycle but do nothing. I unlock the door with the key and try the fob again and it works now. Do I have a bad actuator and and bad Multiplexer as well? I am so confused why the fob works when the drivers door is unlocked but not once I lock it. Also once I programmed it and sat inside the car, if I pushed down the manually lock lever, all the doors lock. once I do that the fobs don't do anything again when I press the button but can hear them cycle. I am at a loss on what to do next. I have tried reprogramming the remotes multiple times along with resetting the drivers master switch a couple times as well. its the same each time.
