Civic 2002 coupe Dash lights don't come on
Hello,
recently I noticed that a light bulb was burnt out so I took out the cluster and changed it, however, I changed it with an LED. When I turned the lights on it came on for a second and went black. The tail light indicators and fuel low check engine lights and so on come on normally, however the speedometer doesn't light up at all. Is there anything I can do to fix it, because finding a new dash is pretty hard in my country.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have a multimeter? Or an 12V voltage checker? I would bench test it by rigging up a 12V source to the cluster out of the car and then checking voltage at the sockets to see if they're getting 12V good power and not 8V or 16V or w.e. weird voltage. You could also do it with the cluster plugged into the car if you ran a couple jumper wires from one of the sockets to reach out in front of the cluster so you can put your tester leads on them. Are the LED bulbs you put in blown or are they still good?
