So I'm new to hondas/mechanic work altogether I recently purchased a 94 Del sol vtec with the b16a3 engine. I bought it as a project car that I plan on trying to build all motor. Anyways I'm replacing head gasket( as its leaking pretty bad and the reason why previous owner sold it) and was wondering if I could put a different head on such as a b18 and what kind of difference it would make ?

You are going the opposite direction everyone goes for power. Do some searches on b20vtec and you will get an idea of the direction you may wish to go for an all motor b series since you already have the sought after b16 head.
