Stiffer Springs w/o Drop? 96 LX Coupe
Just wondering if anyone's installed springs that are stiffer than stock without having to dump the car on the ground, or found spacers that will make up the height difference from the usual aftermarket springs. My car's a daily driver, and the height helps a lot when it snows or I drive on gravel/dirt roads. Had a 97 EX previously that was dropped by the PO and it was closer to a snow plow, and didn't like tall speed bumps at faster than 2mph. Another reason is because alignment shops by me don't want to touch lowered cars, so it'll save me some grief when I go for alignments. Already have ST sways + PU endlinks front and back, which have helped tremendously, but looking to make the car stiffer front to back (still fluffy), too.
If you want stiffer suspension with no drop, look into progress coilovers or good ole ground controls.
Both will enable you to up the spring rates yet not lower the car much, if at all, if you don't want to.
