[Request] 2011 Odyssey - Replacing Alternator - Cannot get bottom bracket to seat

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the bottom bracket to seat. I cannot get it to slide it at all.

The replacement is a Denso (210-0766) and should fit. attached is the best pic i could get of the bottom bracket.

Which part you cannot get - inserting the bottom bracket of the alternator in between of the split bushings on the block, or inserting the lower bolt?
