I just installed a JDM motor in my 2005 Honda Accord. Was unable to get the serpentine belt on (Too Tight) I realize now that the JDM motor has a 6.5 Inch Harmonic Balancer and the old engine has a 6 inch Harmonic Balancer. Is there a belt I can purchase to accommodate the larger Harmonic balancer or do I have to swap out the Harmonic Balancer to the 6 Inch.

The belt may be Honda part number 38920-RBB-E03, since 2005 Accords in other countries list that part number. It is also used by USDM 04-08 TSX and 07-09 CR-X.

 

I would swap the balancer in order to forget about this problem once and for all.
