So I swapped my y7 head and intake manifold to y8 in a 2000 civic cx hatch. The head cylinder is from a 2000 and the intake manifold is from a 99-00 and is for automatic. Y7 tb gasket and new exhaust and intake gaskets. I’ve hooked all hoses and electrical up to the best of my knowledge. When I go to start the car it starts right up but instantly starts rapidly surging from 1500-1600 rpms. I tried to drive it and when the clutch is let out fully the car starts jolting back and forth violently and it’s only done this once before the swap. I don’t know why it’s doing this I’ve tried looking for answers for days now and read all about the two pin conversion, but shouldn’t I not need a two pin if I have the auto intake manifold? I have one engine code p0505 which I've read is for the iacv. Any answers help.

Did you properly connect the Y8 fuel injector air intake hoses and cap the cruise control nipple on the back of the Y8 IM?
And i assume the code is actually P0505.
Thanks for quick response. I will double check all hosing tomorrow but the cruise control is plugged. I’ve read lots about the air injection holes on the face of the intake manifold but don’t know if that could be causing it. I have the vacuum hose connector plugged for those.
If fine, remove air intake and then cover the hole inside the TB leading to the IACV. Does this eliminate the high and surging idle speed? If not, there's a vacuum or intake air leak.

My intake manifold doesn’t come with FIA. I’m using a p2e ecu with the 3pin iacv from my y7 should I be using the y8 sensors on the throttle body?

My intake manifold doesn’t have a FIA. But while swapping the y8 sensors onto the y7 throttle body I noticed a very slight gap in the throttle body, like the plate that opens isn’t getting closed all the way by a very slight amount. Just enough to see light through. I don’t know if it could be the problem or how to fix it. I did read somewhere that there is paint on this plate not supposed to be wiped off but I couldn’t source this information anywhere else.
In pic below, I circled the Y8 IM nozzle that connects to the FIA hose. The disconnected nozzle is sucking air and causing the high surging idle problem.
