91 accord will not go in gear
Hey what's up yall so I'm having some problems trying to figure out what the issue is on why my accord will not go in gear when I crank the car I have changed the master and the slave bleed the system and still will not go in gear. I put the car into 1st gear when was off and tried to crank and it lunges forward kinda stuck on what to do next any advice and help is greatly appreciated thanks in advance...
The problem will be in one of two places: You either have a hydraulics problem or a clutch problem. Since you are "sure" that you have properly bled your new clutch master and slave cylinder combination... that leaves the clutch as the issue. This means that you will have to pull the trans out to see what is going on inside. It is easier to MAKE SURE that you have installed your clutch hydraulic components first before pulling the transmission. Did you bench bleed the clutch master ??? You will need to verify that when you push the clutch pedal to the floor, the slave cylinder actually MOVES the clutch release arm greater than 1/2". If it does not, you still have a hydraulic problem. If it does... you have a broken clutch or throw-out bearing.
