01 Accord: P0763/P1773 codes after replacing motor mount?!?
Help! Long time user of this sites knowledge, first time posting however...
My 2001 Accord 2.3L ULEV never shifted that rough.... just turned 198k so i figured In would replaced all 4 motor mounts last week (they were old and they were a cheap pkg online).
I had to rock that engine forward pretty hard to remove the rear mount.... all said and done it starts, but the D4 light flashes and its throwing codes P0700/P0763/P1773. I shifted into reverse and it sounded like a bomb went off in the tranny... never did that before!! I think I broke my poor honda!
What should I do? I'm so confused, I didn't drive it yet but how could I have messed up the trans while it was stationary??? HELP!!! Thanks!!

If there were no issues before the motor mounts replacement, then check both connectors and wiring for the Shift Control Solenoid C and A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve B.
Re: 01 Accord: P0763/P1773 codes after replacing motor mount?!?
Well, I replaced entirely solenoid B and C with new parts.
I pulled the battery, pulled the connectors to the ecm/tcm by the passenger side, pulled the ecm fuse, the did a battery cycle and pumped the brakes.
Turned the key, car starts fine, enter lockout code but nothing changed, 'D4" is still blinking, car still has sporadic/lurching idle.... I didn't put into reverse this time as it was still flashing, don't want to cause any damage after that crashing sound last time.
I cant get the code to go away and I dont have a code reader that can delete...
What should I do? I called a mechanic friend of mine, but he can't get over with his scanner for a few days...

I am having same issue. I pulled entire motor and now, code 1773 and will not go into gear. What did you do fix it? I replaced a and b solenoid and also relay under steering wheel with no luck. So, what fixed yours?????

Go over your wire harness, you may have pulled or damaged a wire, connector, or pin inside the connector.
Pull apart connectors and verify the connectors are in good order.

Hi,
I havent changed the motor mounts but I have almost the same issue with my estranged wife's 2000 f23a1 4cyl Accord.
It clunks very hard going into reverse, almost like it's over pressure, D4 started blinking occasionally, it has now began to be constant with no shifting at all from a dead stop in D4, it has to be shifted like a straight drive starting in 1st.
Lastnight she called telling me it would start to go after upshifting but began slipping, it was kicking out of gear and had to be downshifted and drove in 1st. I went and cleaned the connection at the dual lockup solenoids on the right hand side of trans, that got her home.
Yet the other problems persist, occasionally the shifter button wont depress and allow you to go from N to R to P, it depresses moves fine in the D ranges, she had to park in neutral with the emergency brake set due to this, I checked the brake switch it seemed fine.
I've been chasing the problems now for 6 months, pulled the solenoids off and checked for proper operation & resistance, removed the lockup solenoids did the same testing checked for signal from Tcm to solenoids, everything I've checked has been fine. Aside from when I pulled the valve body off the left side of the trans one of the tubes had a plugged screen (it hasnt returned) that solved the shifting issue for about a day however D4 has continued to blink.
This car has been a thorn in my side, I work 6 days a week yet cant afford to pay someone to fix it.
Does anyone have suggestions, wiring schematics anything that could help me resolve this for her finally? Any help is appreciated.
