I have a 93 civic vtec. Crank no start, . It has spark to plugs. Fuel pump wasn't coming on when you first start it. Tested fuel pump , it works. Check main relay no problem there found out it had something to so with the ecu. So I had a extra ecu from same year but out of a 1.5l dx and it started and ran for 30 seconds until ecu started smoking. Does anybody got any ideas why this happen?

 

A capacitor blew in the ECU. What car work preceded this problem?
