Default Projected horse power for this setup:

I was thinking about going all motor with a b18b (ls engine).

With a jdm b16a tranny, headers, exhaust, skunk cams, high compression pistons, intake, skunk intake mani, and aftermarket retainers\valve springs.

What do you think the hp\tq would be on that setup?

What would be other parts that would produce gains?

What about with ls\vtec, is it worth the hassle?

I would just slap the VTEC head on there... You will be able to make a lot more power out of an LSVTEC

**** w/ an LS/VTEC with a B18C5 head you should be 170+whp no prob. If you want to build up an LS more power to you. You can get pretty decent numbers with built bottom end, like crower rods and JE high comp pistons. Top end you will have to stick with crower as SKUNK only makes VTEC cams. You have 4 stages to choose from and of course their vavle train. Hell you could get crazy and do the Eagle 94mm crank, Sleeved, much porting and polishing etc....Either one will need much timing and thought. LS/VTEC's are a little harder then buying a head and slapping it on just incase you were unawear.
