'90 and '92 5 speed

Icon6 '90 and '92 5 speed

Do any of you guys know if the '90 and '92, 5 speed transmissions are the same....identical.
I know there are some changes in the DA after '91. Mine's the DA hatch.

The biggest difference I’ve encountered, is the 90-91 shaft has a different spline pattern than the 92-93, so a clutch disc will only fit one or the other, not both. That’s just the friction disc though, the pressure plate would still bolt up.
