Default 2001 Honda Accord 2.3l ulev to vtech swap

I bought a car that already had the swap. The car orginally had the ulev and the vtech motor was put in. What do I need to do to make it run correctly? I have no power around 4000 rpm.

Verify it has the correct PCM for the engine. A non-VTEC PCM will not have the capabilities to command the VTEC solenoid on.

Thanks I’m not good with computers I work on old cars with carburetors so the pcm stuff gets a little confusing sometimes lol could I possibly replace the head with the right head that would match the pcm possibly cause I let someone borrow it and they cracked the head so I gotta get one anyway
