You won't. The idea never gained enough popularity with consumers. You have to sleeve the block anything over 82mm. The consumer in that situation isn't going to spend thousands to sleeve a block just to put in cast pistons.

84 mm was more common as it was based off of the B20 block. That's why options jumped from 82mm to 84mm.

Give it up.

My bore is 82.7, but thanks.
Don't wanna go straight to 84 with no room to rebore.

D series guys were using Toyota 1GGTE pistons before vitaras became popular, it's up to you to do the research needed to find out what 83mm piston will work for you.

Can easily go to 84.5 to 84.6 before you have to replace the sleeve.

You're at the maximum safe bore on a stock sleeve with 82.7mm

If his bore is 82.7mm odds are it's not a standard b series engine and he's looking to find some honda pistons to fit a different engine with the same size wrist pin and compression height. Just a guess.

^ Yes. Iron block, stock 82.7. A series from '85 to '89 (and farther back in the E stuff). Same rods as LS except has smaller piston pin. Only a 12-valve, but not paying for custom pistons when we can get a cheap bump in compression from cast.

I may get a pic and measure sleeve thickness tonight and see what you guys think. I know this has already been done before, but I just can't quite feel comfortable about 84mm yet.

That changes things completely. A-series Acura 1st gen Integra. No one used those in a cast, at least not in the states.

I know this is an old thread. But for those who may be looking for an 83mm cast piston, Honda DID make one. An 83mm cast piston can be found in the B21A from the 1990-1991 Prelude 2.1 SI. I am not sure how compatible this piston is with more modern B-series motors in terms of compression height and piston pin diameter. But unlike the A-series piston, the B21A piston has valve reliefs for four valves per cylinder.
