1996 Acura Integra RS Smoking a lot
Hello my car is smoking a lot. When i bought it, it was not smoking.
After driving it home, it started smoking. (40mins ish)
Car was already warmed up prior to purchase.
On the freeway, it got a little hot and I let it cool but gauge will bounce around?
Now car just smokes a lot on idle and I checked compression it was
4- 90 (first time) (second time - 150) - Did it two times incase
3 - 125
2- 123
1- 183
The smoke looks whiteish and grey, It smells like rings my friend said but compression is good?
It does not have a sweet coolant smell so that's out.
No oil in coolant.
Just did timing and yes it is lined up.
I replaced spark plugs, PCV valve, valve cover gasket / grommets.
What could it be?

I'm not sure what you think a good compression number is but those are terrible. Way too low. That's why youre smoking. It's probably oil control ring but do other tests to confirm. I'm sure your motor has a ton of miles on it and it's probably time for a rebuild. Small overbore, hone and re-ring.
Check your mechanical timing since you just changed the belt. Make sure it's good. Do a wet compression test and see if that significantly changes your results and do a leak down test.
temp gauge does not bounce around, if it overheated after you just purchased the car I suggest you call the seller and get the details.
Timing wont have a effect on smoking, If the PCV is already changed and its smoking its either rings in the block or the valve seal in the head or both. Depending on the state you live you can file a claim on the Lemon law in your state and try and get your money back from the seller.
What you can do is try draining the oil and refill it with fresh oil, on top of the oil pour in a can of this fluid called Engine restore 4 cly formula, this stuff really works wonders, try it its the only real thing you can do besides tearing up the engine for a rebuild. It should stop the smoking and restore some of the engines compression and power. Iv used it and know others who have tried it so I know it works give it a try have nothing to loose at this point.

Yeah I'm not really sure why I said that. I know he just changed the belt so I threw it in there. To OP, the wet compression test I mentioned goes hand in hand with the Engine Restore that wunfstgsr recommends. It's a quick way to test your oil rings to see if they're the cause of the smoking. If they are, Engine Restore really does work as a temporary fix. In my old engine, the one original to my Integra, it brought cylinder #2 from 90psi to 140psi for almost 1,000 miles.
