Had to split the trans and remove the diff to retrieve a broken VSS gear(broke when trans was out). I can't seem to get the case to sit properly with the diff, it goes on fine but the diff sticks in the top half of the case. Snap ring is open and seats fine, when case is closed. But as soon as I even put a bolt in hand tight I cant turn the input shaft even in neutral spins ok when the case is just resting on it. Diff is seated properly it can't drop down any lower, changers gears fine when I put the selector in
