Default P0730

Yesterday I drove it to work and back no issues.. Wife drove it for about an hour or so last night. As she arrived home it wouldn't go into any gear. This morning I was able to drive it but it flares when shifting from 2 to 3.

Time to replace? Or can this be fixed?

Has anyone had any luck with a jdm transmission. I heard that they are a little different and shift weird. Not sure.

One drain and fill. I was able to drive the car to and from work. Only after driving for 45 minutes would it start to act up again. Flaring on shift from 2 to 3, some shuddering. 2nd drain and fill better results because it wouldn’t act up as much. I stopped at the gas station close to home and symptoms went away the rest of the drive. I think the fluid might have failed and there is a bunch of debris in there that is clogging the solenoid filters up. Though I seriously doubt it, a couple more drain and fills may make things all better.

even if the tranny failed, I’d say I’m more than satisfied at 283k miles.

Sorry dude - probably toast.
Went through Honda transmission woes with an Odyssey - so feel your pain.
