I seriously cannot find factual information that I can use or I wouldn’t be here asking this question, sorry if it’s been covered before multiple times I just seriously cannot find real info on this

anyways I’m doing a b20b swap
trying to piece everything together and what I’m kinda seeing if there’s not really a whole lot of b series trannys out there for a decent price so I was looking around and found this B20Z2 tranny for a STRAL OF A DEAL and I was wondering if that is also a hydro transmission? and if it will bolt straight up the the b20b I’m getting. Sorry if these questions are dumb, again.
Any help is appreciated I’m trying to get the transmission today so if anyone can answer it would be greeeeeeaaaaaatly appreciated.

DAMNIT hahahaha I thought I found what I needed. Honestly don’t know what to do the I seriously cannot find a hydro b series tranny at all!

Haha let’s just forget I asked because I’m realizing now it’s not even a an actual b20z trans it’s a S20 off a single cam d series... sorry guys, I’m obviously not nearly as knowledgeable as I should be. Thanks again.

 

That is a problem with B-series swaps. The blocks are plentiful, but hydro transmissions are hard to find aka expensive, at least around here.
