Default New Clutch?

So I have an 99 civic em1 and just recently about two weeks ago I one day got into my car and noticed it was extremely difficult to shift into 1st gear. I also noticed that it only happens after I let the car sit for long periods of time, like when I sleep or I'm at work for 8 hours. also when the car is off it shifts normally and perfectly into every gear I've even tried to start it in first gear but it acts as if it's going to turn on and jerks forward and even when my foot is all the way down on the clutch it still moves forward as if I were putting down the gas pedal so I have to hold down the break as well. the only good thing I suppose it's after the car warms up it shifts buttery smooth as usual like before this happened. so my question is do I need a new clutch or could it be something else? appreciate any help. thank you.

Are you constantly having to top of the clutch fluid? If so, you may have a leaking master cylinder or slave cylinder. Have you tried bleeding the system?
