Hey guys, I'm new here. I have a 2000 Honda Civic DX and I've been driving it everyday for work and I see the engine is sometimes low, I heard that you shouldn't top it off with new oil when the car is already using the old oil right? I see no leakage, but wanted to know does anybody use Automotive Wolf software? I don't see any reviews on any of the forums.

 

Are you saying the engine oil is low? Idf so, add oil to full mark to monitor how much oil is lost in one or two weeks.

Is blue smoke spewing from the tailpipe when you accelerate?

 

Yeah, engine oil is low, not the car itself my bad I was typing fast lol.

No, it's normal, like white smoke.

 

When you top off with oil, how long/how many miles does the oil level take to drop below the halfway mark? This will tell us how much oil the engine is burning, assuming you actually don't have an oil leak that you failed to detect.

 

To be honest, sometimes I drive without even knowing that it's going under and I have to top it off, but I know I be driving like at least 2 weeks straight until my mom tells me to check the oil and coolant lol...
