car is not level when jacked off the ground
on the ground, the car seems to be leveled, but jacked up with hydrolic jack, one side seemed to be higher than the other side. I used the designated jack spot at the front on my 1993 hatchback. the driver side is higher than the passenger side. any thoughts? it could be that the jack location does not distribute the weight evenly on my hatch, but why would the manufacture does that..
there is a spot under the radiator support to use a hydraulic jack BUT I cant say whether the strength of the support is the same across non OEM supports.
To add to the discussion, when you jack the car up from one side or the other it does torsion the body to some degree. Once on jack stands, you will sometimes notice one stand doesn't touch. I believe this is from the body roll torsion that happens when you lift one half the car up from one corner. This will settle out over time once on the road again.

the hood latch mechanism is the center of the car. If you're looking at it, the welded lifting point (under the radiator support) is to right about a few inches.
