I recently purchased a Del Sol Si for my SO, and was digging through the pile of original paperwork with this car. The car has an ECU that doesn't officially exist for Del Sols in Honda's parts catalog. It's got an April 97 build date, and was finally sold by a dealer in August of 1997. The dealer charged a $2000 premium to the buyer, and wrote "last one" on the sales order. The buyer paid $21,984.00 for this car in 1997. That's $35k in today's money. Insane. The VIN on the car is in the mid 5XXX range, and Honda NA says that they only made 5603 that year. Let's say, hypothetically, I wanted to see if there were any sold after this date, or if there were any higher VIN EH6s (EG2 VTEC cars had higher VIN number grouping that didn't correlate to build month, at least in my experience), does anyone have any email contacts for Honda that would know this info? I'm extremely curious as to how many were built/sold after this car.
