See, that is my point. In reference to the last post where the guy proudly announced he maxed out a 163mph - people who do this are really being stupid. Take a look at any one of the trucks that he's passing. . .if anyone of them decides to change lanes. . .does anyone really think that the driver is going to have quick enough reflexes to change lanes. . .and if he does react quickly enough do you think he's got enough skill to counter an oversteering car at 160mph? Now insert "minivan" or "station wagon filled with a family of 4." Now do you see what an incrediblely awful situation that would be? And just b/c the guy wanted to see how fast his car went.
Steve, your a little ******.

then try this
it's a freaking message board, why get so bent? I'm going to go have a few
and try to make sense out of organic chemistry.
as cool as it is, and despite my past, that is just plain dumb.
there is no telling if a deer, rabbit, mouse, pigeon, rock, could jump out. going at that speed the impact would be like if it were dropped from a 25 story building.
plus, the lane changing issue is also very valid.
lastly, there is no way of knowing about his tires...I've seen tires blow on little ruts in the road. at 85 you'd have trouble keeping the car on the road, let alone double that.
