EG hatch is old, the rubber around the steering wheel is loose. what did you guys do with your steering to fix this beside replace with another honda steering wheel or get aftermarket steering wheel. I would like to refurbish the steering wheel if possible.

 

replace with aftermarket. My suggestion: PERSONAL steering wheel, leather.

 

There's no way to fix it. Replace with used OEM is the only possibility. Thankfully, they're cheap. At least, they used to be. But $10 at the junkyard.
