Bought a 1996 Honda Accord Automatic, it was stolen and the ignition was tampered with
The car starts with a screwdriver just fine, would I need to buy an Ignition Switch Assembly?

The whole key lock and cylinder are mising, the assembly itself is damaged and will have to be replaced.
In the first pick the green connector comes out of that black piece of plastic, that is part of the ignition switch that is broken.
In the second and third pic that broken piece of board is from the ignition switch ring and for an automatic, the key interlock device.

New Ignition Lock Cylinder for an AT should fix it.
