I missed the 60,000 automatic transmission fluid change interval my 2008 v6 accord has 102,000 miles now, normal drive conditions. My local mechanic said he wouldn’t touch it. Honda service center didn’t raise an issue. I’ve read a lot of stuff about this being problematic. What should I do? Thanks.

 

1. Find another,more competent, local mechanic.

2. Drain and fill the transmission fluid.

 

Change the ATF; if any "competent" mechanic suggests otherwise, consider him or her "incompetent".
