Default AT lockup Torque Converter and TCM?

1. What is the difference between OBD2 and OBD1 Automatic transmission with the Lockup Torque Converter and TCM?
2. Can the Lockup solenoids can be converted to OBD1 without swapping the OBD2 transmission?
3. How does the Lockup solenoids interact with the TCM and or ECU?

I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to convert the Lockup to OBD1 to work with the factory TCM (OBD2) and on a JDM OBD1 P30 ECU (from OBD2 P75).

Hi my name is Mike. I have similar problem.been searching for help. I put 1999 Integra B18 in a 93 civic hatch. Yes automatic. I used a P75 ECU and engine runs great. I used OBD2 engine harness, it plugged right into OBD1 body harness. No wire conversions. My 93 civic does not have a TCM... Original trans must have shifted through ECU. I'm still trying to figure out how to wire in the extra sensors on this trans to my ECU. Again... No Tcm. Or I'm blind. I already found diagrams needed to do this but I'm not sure about them. Need more help. Thanks in advance.

1999 Integra uses a separate TCM.

I believe the civics TCM were built inside the ECU.

I ran into a video on youtube that had a OBD2 Civic automatic transmission that is running (2) ECU's (OBD2 and OBD1) and he is running Hondata S300 on the OBD1 ECU. It's like he has both ECU in array think of multiple hard drive in a computer that is working together. I have seen the wire harness on ebay for the Automatic that allow to run (2) ECU on it.

In my set up I have a OBD2a Integra with a JDM P30 chipped AT ECU (OBD1) and a JDM SIR-G (S4XA) OBD2 transmission with the factory TCM. Yes it's fully built LS/VTEC Automatic. My concern is RTP tuning (Lockup, shift points, etc.). Since Moates Demon 1 is in no longer in production for the JDM ECU's. I'm trying to see if Hondata will work with my application and it's already been done on a 1995 Integra Automatic (MP7A) OBD1.

On a side note: I'm not worry about SMOG or Emission in my state since my vehicle is exempt due to Historic tags.
