For about two years I’ve been driving what feels like no power steering. I was turning into a parking spot one day and felt like a rubber band “snap” while mid turn and the steering got heavy/firm. Fluid level is fine and I don’t see any leaks. Car has 158k, what am I looking for here?

Did replace the serpentine belt around 125k and the snap happened a few months after that. Belt/tension seen fine.
