I have a 94 honda accord dx and need to replace the fuel pump. I was wondering if a gas tank from a 97 accord with a vtech motor gas tank would work in my 94 accord? I have both gas tanks and the fuel pump looks different. So all in all are the gas tanks interchangeable?

 

The pump motor may be the same,but the hanger assembly maybe different.
Biggest difference is the 96/97 is OBDII so it may have different fittings to meet other needs or demands for EVAP, or simply the 96/97 may have a revised pump assembly from the 94/95.

If the pump motor itself is the same, just use the 97 motor on the 94.

 

I can confirm the fuel pumps are the same from 94-97, i would just swap the pump after fitting on a new filter.
