Hey guys, my roomate has the jdm conv sitting in our living room waiting to be installed, but we need some specifics on the headlamp wiring. Specifically:
- i need to know which pins in the inner harness control the high beams and which control the fogs.
-Is there existing wiring built in to run the fogs?
Any and all suggestions for wiring the fogs would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

PS i kno how to do the rest just the fogs n high beams please.

 

I am pretty sure the Pink wire that come out of the headlights is the highbeam, and the blue wire is the foglights. Just look on the plug to see which pin they go to.

 

Here is a diagram I found. Also try a search, this topic has be brought up a few times.

 

So is there existing wiring for the OEM fogs that i could work with for the wiring of the jdm fogs?? Or do they only add the wiring if the fogs are added?

 

oh btw, i did do a search, i was actually lookin for that exact picture too but was unsuccessful in finding it. THanks for the help, and if u could let me kno about the fog light wiring, that'd be great.

My car had a blue wire going from the fuse box to teh drivers side headlight. It had no plugs or anything. It is for the oem fogs. I am not sure about all aother years. Just check under your dash, you will know if you have it.

 

I'll check for it on his car. Thanks. I guess i'll have to get some sort of toggle switch then huh? hmm.. any ideas/suggestions still appreciated. Keep em comin.

 

I wired my foglights up with my old cruise control switch. I dont wanna waste my money the jdm switch right now. It works, so i cant complain.

 

Status:
Low Beams - ok
High Beams - ok
Side markers - ok
corner lamps - ok
front blinker - ok
fogs - ????

Well i found the blue wire you were talkin about and it does seem like it is the one for the oem fogs cuz it has a harness at the end but its taped down becuase it isn't in use. I was wondering wat fuse slot controls it. And how i would do the wiring for the switch. any suggestions?
