Im installing an aftermarket alarm/keyless entry/ remote start on my 97. Is the bypass needed the one that uses a spare key?

Thanks Tight but an old buddy reminded me of a trick to not only bypass at remote but bypass alltime so I can use the silver key to start . I only had one chipped key so I used that in the DEI unit and completely bypassed Immobilizer but left it in place.I would have had to either pay to get new transponder keys or get a flashed unit that normally no biggie but I had the remote unit already so not buying anything for it.
