I've been having problems with my left CV axle on my 91 Ef hatch, it was too short when I bought title from the previous owner causing it to not sit in the transmission all the way, I bought a new axle and it doesn't fit... The splines are bigger as in it doesn't even try to go into the hub, I need to figure out what the problem is...
