Iv got a d16a9 turbo bought the full turbo set with the engine (original engine was a Zc which I took out) , car had idling issues I got that sorted out and the car was running fine, took it out for a drive yesterday drove good, didn't drive it hard just around the block normal driving no problems.

So this morning I thought il start it up again, and it's not starting, iv checked all the sparks and they are firing fine, fuel is being pumped, battery is fine..

One thing that was concerning was I did the first turn there was abit of black smoke that puffed up Im guessing it was coming from around the oil filter not 100% sure as I was in the driver seat and bonnet open. I turned the car off straight away when I saw the smoke, I waited few minutes then tried starting it but nothing is happening just ticking

When I took the spark plugs out they were wet

What can it be?

Everything has been done, new timing belt, oil, oil filter, spark plugs, waterpump

I really want to get the crx on road it been 10years since its been off road 😭😭
